James Pollack

Jimmy founded Detroit Financial after spending two decades in the financial services and insurance industry. Frustrated with antiquated methods and stodgy persona, Jimmy found it time to co-create something more exciting and appropriate for the 21st century.

Prior to Detroit Financial, Jimmy ran the day to day operations of one of the largest independent marketing organizations in the country and personally contributed to the development of over 100 representatives while helping to grow an investment portfolio in excess of 1.5 billion dollars.

As a personal advisor he helped hundreds of individuals in the private and public sector plan and prepare for their short term and retirement goals. As a result, he has been awarded some of the highest honors and recognition his industry has to offer.

Jimmy is a dedicated husband to an incredible wife, partner and friend as well as a father to four amazing children and a servant two loving dogs. He has a true passion for family, the outdoors, travel and adventure. When he is not working he is involved in his children’s extra curricular activities as well as many charitable organizations.

Robert DeRoven

Rob was inspired to join Detroit Financial — driven by his passion — with the goal of helping individuals, families, and corporations build and protect their assets.

Before joining the finance and insurance industry Rob worked in new home construction as a vice-president of sales. When the real estate market collapsed in 2006, Rob witnessed so many peoples’ dreams crashing with their financial stability shattered. He realized quickly that it was time for change. Since 2007 he has been helping individuals and their families do better financially today and into ALL of their tomorrows.

Rob’s former firm managed over 1.5 billion dollars and was the gold standard for agents. He was the leading producer during his ten year stay, amassing over 1000 clients. During his tenure, he also ran the firm’s national sales and training program, creating and managing the US field sales force.

All the accolades, though, are nothing compared to the satisfaction he gets from helping others. Clients are an extension of family for Rob. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PARAMOUNT… “Products are products and plans are plans so I am going to beat other firms and agents with the client support I provide.” Rob is passionate about making people (all people regardless of net worth or age) feel at ease during the process of discussing their finances.

Rob lives in Birmingham Michigan with his fiancée Rachel and their children Marley and Jonah.

Kevin Most

Kevin M. Most

Kevin Most is a strategist and consultant for Detroit Financial where he helps clients, small business owners and self employed individuals with their investment, insurance and employer-offered-benefit needs. With client service being the utmost important, he meets in person with clients, listens to their needs and objectives, and then strategically designs custom-tailored solutions for them, that meet their lifelong investment, savings, insurance and business needs. Kevin’s main objective is to help organize, build, and grow the client’s retirement savings and investments; striving solely to protect their financial future.

Kevin joined Detroit Financial with 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry where he analyzed client’s complete financial and insurance profiles. During his time as an analyst, Kevin saw countless people that were unable to retire because they carried too much debt and had insufficient retirement assets or retirement income. When presented the opportunity to join the Detroit Financial team, he knew this was the place he needed to be. He could finally put his years of experience towards helping people prepare, plan and achieve their investment, retirement, savings and insurance goals.

As previously mentioned, customer service is of utmost importance. He responds expediently to all client calls and emails and if there is ever a question he is unable to answer, he does not rest until he has an answer for the client.

Kevin lives in Sylvan Lake with his wife, Logan, two daughters, Oakley and Brighton, and their three dogs, Quinn, Swayze and Rye. In his free time, Kevin enjoys everything this beautiful state has to offer: fly fishing the sacred rivers and lakes of Michigan, chasing his bird dogs through the woods in the fall, skiing, golf, reading, and being the best possible father and husband he can be.
